1. What is a Bookish retreat?
A bookish retreat is a serene getaway designed for book lovers to immerse themselves in literature and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. Here, attendees can indulge in reading, attend literary discussions, and connect with fellow bibliophiles. It's a perfect escape to recharge while celebrating the joy of books. Whether nestled in nature or in a cozy cabin, these retreats offer a unique experience for those seeking solace in stories.
2. What is the schedule for the retreat?
The schedule is incredibly loose as the idea is you are taking time to read as you see fit. You can sleep in, get up early, read on the porch, bike to the woods, or just sit in your room and read. There will be some scheduled events but it is your choice to particpate or not.
3. Is my flight and lodging included in the retreat?
Flights are not included with any of our retreats. However, each individual retreat is different, please read carefully under each retreat as lodging may be inclided in some but not others. We want you to have the flexibility to room as you like so, you can room solo or share.
4. Can I come alone or do I need a friend?
Absolutely! Come alone and meet new friends or bring a friend along. We hope to come as strangers and leave as friends.
5. Is everyone reading the same book?
Nope! Bring your TBR and read what makes you happy, this weekend is all about you and your mood.
6. Is there an age restriction?
As of right now our retreats are 18 and up!
7. Are the retreats refundable?
The retreats are non-refundable. However, if the venue or we have to cancel for any reason then you will recieve a full refund.
8. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all payment methods such as, credit card, Paypal, Apple Pay, and Pay as you go services such as Affirm and Klarna.
9. How do meals work?
Depending on the location there may be on-site dining, local restaurants, or we may do the cooking for you! THe hope is we dine together and discuss all things bookish, but again this is all about you and what you want to do.
