Welcome to The Wandering Story and our Bookish Retreat! We're so glad you're considering joining this inclusive and welcoming space where stories, rest, and community come together. Before you reserve your spot, please review the following terms and conditions. By registering, you agree to the policies outlined below.
1. Inclusivity and Respect
We are committed to creating a retreat experience that is inclusive, respectful, and accessible to all participants, regardless of race, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, age, religion, or background. All participants are expected to uphold these values throughout the retreat. Discrimination, harassment, or harmful behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
2. Booking and Payment

Your spot is reserved only upon full payment of the retreat fee.

Payment is accepted through the methods provided during registration.

All prices are listed in US Currency and include any applicable taxes or service fees unless otherwise stated.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that life happens. However, due to the nature of planning retreats (including accommodation, meals, and materials), we maintain a firm cancellation policy:

All payments are non-refundable once your booking is confirmed.

If you are unable to attend for any reason, your payment cannot be refunded or transferred to another retreat.

We encourage you to consider purchasing travel insurance in case of unforeseen circumstances that may prevent your attendance.
Exception:
In the rare event that the retreat is canceled by the organizers or the venue, all participants will receive a full refund of any payments made. We will not be held responsible for any other expenses incurred (e.g., travel or accommodations booked separately).
4. Health and Safety

We strive to accommodate all accessibility and dietary needs wherever possible. Please let us know in advance if you have specific needs.

By attending, you confirm that you are physically and mentally well enough to participate in the retreat activities. If you're unsure, we recommend checking in with a healthcare provider before registering.

Any health information shared with us will be kept confidential and used only to support your experience.
5. Photography and Media

During the retreat, photos and videos may be taken to document the experience.

These may be used in future marketing materials, on our website, or on social media.

If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please let us know when you register or upon arrival, and we will honor your request.
6. Code of Conduct
All participants agree to:

Refrain from harmful, offensive, or exclusionary language or behavior.

Notify retreat staff if any issues arise so we can address them promptly and appropriately.
Anyone who does not adhere to these guidelines may be asked to leave the retreat, without refund.
7. Changes and Modifications
While we do our best to maintain the retreat schedule and offerings as planned, we reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments as needed due to weather, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances.
8. Agreement
By submitting your registration and payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
